Weston-S-Mare Breathe Easy is a self-help group for anyone with a lung condition and is a local part of the British Lung Foundation (B.L.F.).
One person in every seven suffers with a respiratory problem ranging from Asthma to Emphysema and lung cancer.
There are 250 Breathe Easy group throughout the country, each group offers support and advice, they also offer a range of activities
including regular meetings, with a wide variety of speakers, on medical and local topics.
The B.L.F. have a help-line which offers expert and confidential advice, and can be contacted on
08458-505020 Monday to Friday, there is also a “Pen Pal” scheme for people who are house bound, who would like to
contact others with similar health problems.
Weston-S-Mare Breathe Easy meets on the Wednesday of each month, at the Hutton Village Hall at 2pm.
